3H

During the World Book Day, every now and then the bell rang and we had to 'drop everything and read', even in the middle of our lessons!! In the afternoon, we paired up with a Year 5 class to do some partner reading. What a great day all about books!!

On 2nd February we had our Enabling Enterprise Challenge Day titled 'Operation Moonbase'. We were working in teams to create a new world of one of the moons, called Utopia. We had to pick the crew, design new animals and plan what buildings can we construct for our new world. Then, we had to make them! Throughout the day we worked on many necessary skills, like leading, working in a team, not giving up, decision making, reasoning and many more. We have also had a lot of fun in the process!!!

On Monday, we had our 'Celebrate our differences day'. The children made their mosaic flags, created sculptures of famous international landmarks and learnt some games that children in other countries play. At the end of the day, we showed our homework bags full of items specific to our country and shared many interesting facts! Here are some photos of the fantastic day we've had in 3A:
