Circus Trip 26th May 2017

What a fantastic end to the half term with all of the Juniors visiting the ‘Zyair’ Circus in Broomfield Park, Palmers Green.

It was the perfect day with temperatures reaching 28°C! The show started with an amazing acrobatic display which involved strength, balance and agility.

Next was some amazing juggling with Diabolo. “That thing went right up to the top of the ‘big top’!”

How he managed to juggle with 2 Diabolos I’ll never know!

There was then some more fantastic acrobatics; one using a pole and another using a hoop suspended high above the arena.

In between acts, we were treated to some fun and antics by a clown. First up was Miss Ngwenya, followed by Mr Quigley who had to do limbo dancing whilst blind folded. Well done to both for being great sports.

The show ended with the two best acts. First was the laser show. It started off simply with just one green beam which was then transformed into a double handed light saber, before developing into multiple lasers.

The show ended with a truly daring act – 3 motorbikes inside a metal globe! The display was unbelievable – real ‘heart in the mouth’ stuff!

Unfortunately, the show was over far too quickly, but it was a relief to get back out into the fresh air as it was incredibly humid inside the tent. A day to remember!
